    Maggie is a researcher and lecturer with the DIT, in the area of strategic operations & international supply management, for industry and on academic graduate and postgraduate programmes. She is completing her doctoral thesis with the WBS, University of Warwick on “Developing and Managing Shared Service Relationships across the Public-Private Dyad”. Her previous work as a Civil Engineer, Production Engineer, Industrial Engineering Manager and Operations Manager have given her the ability to critically analyse the business environment, an organisation’s strategy and to develop an appropriate supply management response.

    Presentation Title: Developing and Managing Relationships Outsourced Relationships: Public and Private Sector Perspectives.

    The presentation will give an overview of my research to date in the area of strategic supply management. It will examine how outsourcing and shared service centres are developed,  and how relationships are managed. It will also consider the key role of the manager in leading change.
